Our policies and terms for HeyNick
Last updated 30 September 2026
HeyNick plans are prepaid passes. This page explains when you can get your money back, how to ask, and how long it takes.
Every learner can use HeyNick Free, and Pro comes with a 7-day free trial. You aren’t charged for the trial, and it doesn’t turn into a paid plan by itself.
| Situation | Refund |
|---|---|
| You change your mind within 7 days of paying (any plan; once per learner in 12 months) | Full refund, no questions asked |
| Monthly pass, after 7 days | No refund. You keep access until the end of the month you paid for. Nothing renews automatically. |
| Quarterly, academic-year or exam-season pass, after 7 days | Refund for the whole months you haven’t used: amount paid × unused full months ÷ months in the pass. No refund in the last month, or if the amount is under ₹100. |
| Something went wrong on our side: HeyNick was unavailable for more than 48 hours, a subject in your pack has no content, the wrong plan was activated, or you were charged but your plan didn’t start | Full or partial refund, whatever is fair, at any time |
| You were charged twice | The extra payment, in full, fast-tracked |
| Free or complimentary pass | Nothing to refund |
| Account closed for breaking our Terms (for example sharing a login or copying content in bulk) | No refund |
Refunds are based on what you actually paid after any discount, not the list price.
When a refund is made, that pass ends straight away and the learner moves to HeyNick Free. Their progress, notes and history are kept. A GST credit note is issued for every refund.
Write to our Grievance Officer at grievance@heynick.ai. We acknowledge complaints within 48 hours and resolve them within one month. You can also approach the National Consumer Helpline (1915 or consumerhelpline.gov.in).
